Description
Hemlock twig –with deeply resinous tight rings–cut from a dead branch close to the trunk combined with ebony from recycled antique pianos, the brass end of a guitar string, paua abalone, mother of pearl, piano string copper, brass, nickel–and finished with cow’s milk evokes a striking North Woods image. The brass diamonds are reportedly scrap from the making of blackberry phones. Chain is 2mm silver plated brass, 18” long.
