Created from Tahitian black mother of pearl, antique piano string copper, paua abalone, antique piano key ebony, Ebony from the Schooner Dolphin which capsized in 1854 off Cuttyhunk Island, Massachusetts, purpleheart shipwright scrap, this pendant has a polished finish, buffed/burnished with a thin hard wax surface. It is very rich, deep and complex looking. The “sky” looks like moving cloud fronts out there on a grey day. Deeply luminous. Chain is 18″ silver plated brass.
