1854 Shipwreck Ebony & Piano Key Ebony Earrings ers-121



Created from ebony from the Schooner Dolphin which capsized off Cuttyhunk, MA in December 1854, piano key ebony, angelique from Surinam and Martha’s Vineyard shipbuilders’ scrap. Paua abalone, mother-of-pearl, piano string copper, brass, nickel, and cow barn aluminum round it out. Sterling Silver (USA) ear wire, finish from cow’s milk. The earring body is 1-1/8” long.
